Anyone For Zinfandel?

This is the web site for Zinfandel lovers who want to keep up with both the best established producers, as well as the newest and below the radar producers. We review as many wineries as we can, and bring you the latest information about the best wineries that we can find. There are some wineries that we visit, but you will not read about them on this site since the wine didn't meet our standards. If it is in here, they had some good Zinfandel. If they are not here, I may not have had a chance to visit them yet.

When possible, we will have a review of the best Zinfandel we found written up in the Blog. In most cases these will be available in some high end stores, but occasionally we will be so excited about a limited production wine that we will have to tell you about it. In those cases you may have to contact the winery directly.

Since we drink zinfandel most of the time, we also look for recipes that will pair well with zinfandel. Every once in a while our resident chef, or myself, will add a new recipe to the "Food" section.

We are always on the lookout for good Zin. If you have found a winery that is not in our winery section, please let us know about it. We will be glad to check it out and let our readers know about it.

This web site went active on January 15, 2007, and recently we have changed a lot of the format. Unfortunately there are a lot of wineries that I have not yet visited and I have been unable to visit a number of Zinfandel producing regions! Rest assured, I am going to visit many more wineries as soon as possible, and will get the reviews on the site

DISCLAIMER - If we like the Zins from a particular winery we will let you know. The reviews on this site are based only on the likes, and dislikes, of our staff. We will not write about a winery when we did not like the zins. However, if you don't find a winery here that you like, we may not have tasted their wines, and cannot write about them. We are working our way through every Zin producer as fast as we can! Please be patient with our speed, as well as how much time we can devote to writing about Zin when we could be drinking it!.
